Michel Pioro-Ladrière is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Sherbrooke and previously was a researcher at the Japan Science and Technology Agency. He received his Ph.D. (2005) from the University of Sherbrooke, in partnership with the National Research Council of Canada (NRC).
Dr. Pioro-Ladrière is currently exploring quantum information processing with electron spins in quantum dots. At the Japan Science and Technology Agency, he pioneered a practical way to implement scalable one-qubit gates with single electron spins.
