![]() Gilles Brassard awarded Herzberg Canada Gold MedalJune 5, 2010Quantumworks research Gilles Brassard from the Université de Montréal, the internationally acclaimed inventor of quantum cryptography and quantum teleportation, has won this years Gerhard Herzberg Canada Gold Medal for Science and Engineering. “Our government is committed to supporting Canada’s researchers in order to improve the quality of life of Canadians and strengthen our economy,” said Minister Goodyear. “We are very proud of the role that we play in helping and encouraging scientists across the country to excel in their work.”
